Framerate and camera size

In this article I am going to say a few things about the Toon Boom Studio new project window.Here you can set your animation parameters before you begin creating the project. Depending on who you think your target audience is,and what do you want to do with your animation,you can choose from a set of different settings.You can enter your own parameters,or you can choose a preset from the format menu. An important factor will be your final output.Are you going to put the animaton on the internet for everyone to watch or are you aiming for High Definition TV?
First you can set the name of your project,then you can choose your format.If you don’t know what each format stands for ,you can check them out on Wikipedia.If you want your own parameters,first you have to choose a framerate. One thing you have to know is that the lower the framerate is, the chopier your animation is going to be.Finally we have the camera size wich is basically the screen resolution.If after you created a project you are not satisfied with the framerate or camera size you can change them by going to the File menu and then Animation Properties.

The Wacom tablet

If you are going to be animating in toon boom studio, I realy recommend that you get a Wacom tablet.You can’t get the same results by drawing with your mouse,I actually know a few people that are good at drawing with the mouse,but I personally find it very hard.You can use it as your primary input device for everything.You can use it all the time,instead of a mouse.The pen digitaly interacts with the tablet so you can draw as good as you would on paper.If you never used one before,it might take a day or two to get used to it.But after that,you will be amazed of what you can create with it.Also if this is going to be your first tablet, I realy recommend that you get the Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet. It's very good for beginers,plus it's not expensive.You can buy it at only $63 from Amazon.Check it out.
